 Finnish metal-act Katra was founded in summer 2006 when vocalist Katra Solopuro gathered a group of musicians around her. Things evolved quickly and by autumn their first single Sahara got a fair share of radio air time. More was to follow when Katra was chosen to race for place to reprecent Finland in Eurovion´s song contest in the beginning of 2007.
