After "My Life Would Suck Without You", N°1 in the United States, Kelly Clarkson releases the second single from her new album, "I Do Not Hook Up", written by Katy Perry : listen to a short clip !
Kelly Clarkson, winner of "American Idol" first season, has gone well since 2001. The singer released 3 albums since Thankful in 2003, with hit singles, N°1 in her country but also in the UK, Canada & Australia. There were : "A Moment Like This" (covered by British singer Leona Lewis), "Miss Independent", "Breakaway", "Since U Been Gone", "Behind These Hazel Eyes", "Walk Away" & "Never Again".
In France, Kelly Clarkson's success is more confidential even is she has French fans. She has one hit in that country : "Because Of You" (N°13 in 2006). Whereas "My Life Would Suck Without You", first single from her new album, has been N°1 in the United States, after Lady Gaga, the song isn't successful in France, however it's aired on radios. Kelly Clarkson has already chosen the follow-up, "I Do Not Hook Up", written by Katy Perry (who already recorded it in a demo version)...

For this new album, the young woman has been helped by Dr. Luke & Max Martin, who composed "My Life Would Suck Without You". The 2 men have previously composed Katy Perry's hit "I Kissed A Girl".
