| "when he had schizophrenia"? That doesn't make sense. Schizophrenia is not curable. You can medicate it, but it doesn't go away (a relative of mine has it.) We all sort of have "voices" -- random thoughts, internalized messages. I think it's just about him being raped by the neighbor in his childhood, then the internalization of the message he got from that experience. Lots of abused kids go on to hurt themselves in various ways, like becoming cutters. |
