Song lyrics
[Instrumental]

We killed a lot of innocent civilians,
To us, every civilian, in Baghdad, was a terrorist
They said "they are now in civilian cloths"
That makes everybody free game,
But if they came within our perimeter - we lit em up
And when we would pull the body out,
And we would search the car
We would find nothing,
This took place time, and time again,
No harm no foul, its ok, don't worry about it.
But this is a new type of war,
This is an eradication.

I honestly feel we're committing a genocide over here,
I dont believe in killing civilians,
And I'm not going to kill a civilian for the United States Marine Corp.

I appreciate the music, yes, they do have skill and this song even without the spoken lyrics is still a good song..But regardless, I value lyrics over music. A song is generally merely a poem with music that helps carry the lyrics..In my eyes atleast, in any song, the music is the fancy wrapping of a gift, but what matters is the juicy present inside of the box, that being the lyrics.

Anyone can LEARN to play a guitar and eventually, with practice, they could put notes together with some real talent..But not everyone can arrange words in a poetic manner, so raw and inspiring that all who read them are captured in aw at how fluently a true artist can use perception and the written word to deliver such a powerful yet artistically vague message.
