| Lily Allen was born on May 2, 1985 in Hammersmith, UK. Her father Keith Allen was an actor & her mother Alison Owen was a producer. A freaky child, she went to 13 different schools & left at 15. She turned to music, writing punk, reggae, ska & R&B music. Lily signed to a record company but was disappointed, so the young woman put her songs on the Net. In 2005, Lily became a web star. Her first single "LDN" was released & her career was launched. In July 2006, she released her first album Alright, Still, with great lyrics & catchy music. |
