Minutes to midnight is definetly below par for Linkin Park. There are too many slow, bad songs. Linkin Park standards, about 2 or 3 are good. There is about 7-8 decent songs and 3-4 not good at all. They said they went away from nu metal, well I hope they go back, this punk shit sucks

I have minutes to midnight too. I thought it would be really bad because many people said so but i really like this album. In Pieces, Bleed It Out, Hands Held High... All of the songs are good!

well, I'm kinda disappointed...
I expected the record to be THE BEST one, but it's by far the worst.
its sound is so weird, so NOT linkin park. It's just some wannabe punk or something...
some tracks are good, some decent, but most are bad...

Lp owns! The best song is "faint"!!! "By myself" and "don't stay" also own.

After those come "runaway", "crawling", "numb","one step closer", "given up" and "no more sorrow"

Though I bought "minutes to midnight" and I have to say... It was a huge letdown. "Given up" and "No more sorrow" were really good. "What I've done" and "bleed it out" were mediocre, and the rest really sucked. Only some d*mn ballads! I thought LP were a hard rock band? I can admit I like "my december" but I can't accept that EIGHT of twelve songs were boring tedious ballads. Two thirds! Really dissapointing. They should go back to their old louder selves.

LP are loosers. They dont know what does it mean music. They play only for money. They dont play with heart. That is only commecial music. Noooobs. Its like Tokyo Hotel, only commercial, they need some stupid fans which will listen to theyr "music". BOOOOORRRRIIINNNGGGG

Wow I can't believe some of the things I'm hearing. It seems as if a Linkin Park song is only good if Chester is screaming the whole way through. Well news flash people, there is a crap ton more to music than screaming. I sure you will find that millions of people enjoy music that is not Heavy Metal.

On the dvd I got with the cd Linkin Park talks about how they didn't want to do the same old same old but were trying something different. I hope it's not a surprise to any of you that people change and as they change the style of music they're interested in can change as well. Linkin Park can play any type of music they want and if you don't like it stop listening. Believe it or not it's a simple as that.

I like every single Linkin Park song I've heard and most of they're new softer songs are my favorites. Yes, I know every one is entitled to their own opinions and you don't have to like the new songs if you don't want to and if you don't, get over it and let Linkin Park be who they want to be.

How could Linkin park think they were getting tedious? I'm addicted to their old kind of music and my need is completely unanswered! They didn't make close to enough of their old kind of music.

I had downloaded their music from hybrid theory and meteora, and I really liked them. So I decided to support them and buy minutes to midknife before I heard the songs. And what do I get from supporting them? What do i get from the first CD I ever buy with my own money in my entire life? A compact disc full of crap, that's what I got. I'm never buying a CD again.

But I guess people shouldn't complain. They decide if they want to change their style. They decide if they want to lose what they really are. they decide if they want to dissapoint tens of thousands of frustrated people. They decide if they exhaust the only source of good music some people have. It's their choice.
