Lio (real name Wanda Ribeiro Furtado Tavares de Vasconcelos) was born on June 17, 1962 in Mangualde, Portugal. Her family settled in Belgium in 1968. Brilliant but a little rebel, the young girl liked the punk mode, started music in 1976 & chose her stage name in "Barbarella". In 1979, she recorded her first single "Banana Split" & the young girl was in the spotlight. Her singles were successful but Lio wanted to try cinema. In 1985, she played in "Elsa Elsa" & got a certain talent. Her album Pop...
