 Lorie (real name Laure Pester) was born on May 2, 1982 in Le-Plessis-Bouchard, France. At 3, she started dancing & at 6, she started ice-skating. During 10 years, she wanted to be a professional sportswoman. She got 12 medals ! At 15, Laure gave up ice-skating, nicknamed herself Lorie & started singing. She released her first single "Baby Boum" in 1998 but it was unsuccessful. Thanks to her father Dominique Pester, Lorie met producer Johnny Williams in September 2000.
