Lover Poetic - Biography

Poetic Lover was a French boysband. The 4 members were Rudy (Carry Kani), Johan (Jay), André (Dré) & Rodrigue (Little T), from Noisy-Le-Grand. In 1997, the band won "Graines De Star" & in August 1998, they released their first album Amants Poétiques, including "Prenons Notre Temps", "Qu'Il En Soit Ainsi" & "Fier D'Avoir Ton Love", between R&B & ballads. They also recorded a song with Carole Fredericks, "Personne Ne Saurait". Their second album Conquête came out in 2000 but wasn't successful, the band split.
Jay has performed a duet with Tina Arena, "Je Te Retrouve Un Peu", & played in the musical "Cindy" in 2002. Rudy released his album Bluesy Jazz Soul under the name Rudy Joseph. Dré worked as a hip-hop artist under the name Recka Donnerro. Little T has become a producer. |
