Lynda's Best Of on September 5
19-07-2011 14:31 | 0 comment(s)
Lynda Lemay Lynda Lemay will celebrate 20 years of laughs & cries with her first Best Of, released on September 5, one year after Blessée. Her new French tour will go through Paris' Olympia on January 30 & 31, 2012.

In 2010, the Canadian singer celebrated 20 years of career. No surprise, there'll be a Best Of. Released on September 5, there'll be funny songs & also dark songs, this lyricist may be a poet too. If Lynda Lemay got famous on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, it's because of her lyrics & her voice, remember.

To celebrate the 2 decades, the singer will go on tour in France again. "I need meetings with my audience like I need food to live. To have a good mental health, to be a good mum & to be a happy woman who can do all the rest, I need those moments with my audience" she said when her album Blessée came out in 2010.

With her own way of singing, Lynda Lemay tells true stories of daily life. With more or less delicate humour, she talks about her world. With more than 3 million discs sold, she's one of the most popular Canadian singers in France. The audience discovered her with Les Lettres Rouges (N°1 during 3 weeks). Success continued with Un Paradis Quelque Part in 2005, but she's been more talented live. She likes to record live albums like the latest one, Blessée.
