i liked this song better than her first "My December" single. When I heard the title, I thought it was going to be like Evanescency or something. It's better than I though. |

I don't understand why everyone thinks this song is so fantastic.  The song starts boring, then it's good.. Kelly's voice sounds very beautiful, but the song is just good, no more. |

one of my favrite songs on the album because it's so different. she has such bad ass in your face music, so for a song this personal is really neat, and it makes her album have it all. |

This song is absolutely brilliant!!
And although it's about breaking up, it helps me to survive without my boyfriend who left to Belgium for three months, and I know that I'll wait, I'll breathe, I'll be standing here for these 3 months just for him and that this waiting will save me Thanx Kelly, you're excellent. |

I figure this song has different meanings for everyone. For me, it holds the promise of being sober enough for three months to not drink. For me, it means three months of living with pain from my ex, and I'm slowly getting better. The day I made him leave, that was the day I stopped drinking. The day I started remembering.
It's a beautiful song on so many different levels...
But I want to know, as do many others, what's wrong with her voice?

Absolutely breathtaking.
it's amazing because it comes after the harder Never Again, One Minute and the intrusively-urgent and honest Hole...
Here is Sober. Her most note-worthy ballad to date. It's slow, it's heartfelt and you can relate. The guitars strum soothingly, Kelly confesses her feelings and before you know it, she breaks into a melodic chant which is BEYOND A M A Z I N G !!
Not much else to say. I can relate to Be Still more but really, this song is the most note-worthy of the "3?" album ballads. |
