2 posts | This is probably the most important song to me out of anything I've ever heard. Ever. Which is pretty big, considering I listen to the goods of it 'all'. It was "the song" for my ex and I. I had never slowed danced before, and he had taken me to a family wedding. I was embarrassed when I admitted it to him, but without hesitation, he took me in the hall and showed me how. After the wedding, we went back to his house, and he took me upstairs and put a cd in that I had made for him. I had known that he liked Aerosmith, but I didn't put the song on the cd with true purpose. This was the first song. And we danced in complete darkness, holding eachother, completely naked. I cried. I was so happy... I still remember that feeling, his heartbeat, the way we made love that night. You know those memories you may never speak of again, but they stay embedded in your memory for the rest of your life? That was one of mine. |
