The question asked in order
To save her life or take it
The answer no to avoid death
The answer yes to make it
Make it
"Do you believe in God?"
Written on the bullet
Say yes to pull the trigger
Do you believe in God?
Written on the bullet
And Cassie pulled the trigger
All heads are bowed in silence
To remember her last sentence
She answered him knowing what would happen
Her last words still hanging in the air
In the air
"Do you believe in God?"
Written on the bullet
Say yes to pull the trigger
Do you believe in God?
Written on the bullet
And *Cassie* pulled the trigger
How many will die?
I will die
I, I will say yes
Do you believe in God?
Written on the bullet
Say yes to pull the trigger
Do you believe in God?
Written on the bullet
And *Cassie* pulled the trigger
(Do you believe)
Do you believe in God (Do you believe)
Do you believe in God (Do you believe)
Do you believe in God
And I will pull the trigger

vocal I'm just a Flyleaf fan. But as I understand from many of my Flyleaf friends, Cassie is about the Columbine shooting. A girl, Cassie, was asked if she believed in God. SHe said yes and was shot to death. As a song, Cassie is amazing. Then again, all of Flyleaf's material is amazing.

vocal I've seen Flyleaf live.. twice!!! The only way to describe it is AMAZING. They opened for Breaking Benjamin at 2 local shows and I had never heard of them before, but when Lacey belted out I'm So Sick, even my guy friends were convinced that they're the real thing. Since then, we've been hooked, but it never occurred to me that they're Christian rock.. which makes it even better.. but deff live is awesome

This song is definitely one of my favorites...I just love the sound, you know? Her voice- whatever her name is (not sure, just got the CD today) but, anyways, her voice is great! It's got really...everything going for it, she can sound soft and sensitive and scream her lungs out in the same song and it sounds gorgeous whatever she does. She's just good enough to do that. Anyways- great song, great singer, great CD...and totally worth the $10 I paid =)

vocal Great band, I am DEFINATELY looking for their next album. The fact that they are a Christian Rock band really makes it even better. I am definately gonna recommend this song to all Heavy rockers everywhere, and get them into the band, and then get them into God.

vocal I love flyleaf and i love how the lead singer can scream. this song is crazy because it says cassie pulled the trigger and my name is cassie and then it says racheal pulled the trigger and my ex boyfriend left me for a girl named racheal. just a little dorky irony.
loves it anyways...

I'm not Christian myself, but power to them for being so proud of their religion. ^^ This song gives me the chills. It's my favorite song of theirs; the one that got me into them in the first place.

vocal i love this song. i just got the cd like 10 minutes ago but that song is awesome. I first heard flyleaf when they came out with their single a few years ago and i was so excited when I heard they came out with a cd. they're awesome also becuse they're christian. i dont know a lot of good christian rock bands.
I can't decide if I like this song or not. I like that they were trying to write a song to remember and celebrate the sacrifice that Cassie made, but I'm just putting myself in her mother's shoes and thinking how I would be annoyed how flyleaf is presenting Cassie's death. Idk, I just think that this isn't the best way to sing about Cassie. She deserves a much better song to remember her by than, cause she was just a really brave, unselfish person, who was willing to die for what she believed in and she touched alot of hearts.

vocal Keep your faith to yourself. I love how people are taking a great band and using it to further their own goals, even when it appears the band doesn't even possess that attitude.

vocal It's a good song. The lyrics are awsome and it is written about a unique and thought provoking topic. THe specific topic - the story of a girl who, when asked if she was Christian answered yes despite having a gun to her face - is a misconception commonly related to Columbine. Though there really was a girl named Cassie Bernell shot at Columbine, she wasn't shot because she admitted to being a Christian, she and her murderer didn't even exchange any words. She was killed because she was there.
Still the song is wonderfully written, even if it isn't completely factual.
Not a fan of this god guy, but this band rocks...finally, a good rock band with a FEMALE singer...been waiting all my life for it, the lyrics and the sounds rock...I love this song.
