| After "Je Descends Du Singe" & "J'Ai Vu La Lumière", Marc Lavoine chose the ballad "Auprès De Toi, Mon Frère" as the third single from his new album. In this song, Marc pays tribute to his brother & the video has been shot. Discover it !
Released on September 10, 2012, Marc Lavoine's eleventh album has been followed by a tour in France & he performed in February at Paris' Olympia. In Zéniths this spring, "Toi Mon Amour" singer will perform on June 28 at Paris' Palais des Sports. He'll perform his most beautiful songs like "Elle A Les Yeux Revolver", "Le Pont Mirabeau", "Je Me Sens Si Seul" & of course, those from his new album Je Descends Du Singe, that sold 120,000 copies. Produced by the same team that appeared on Volume 10 (2009), the album includes "Je Descends Du Singe" & "J'Ai Vu La Lumière". Recently, the ballad "Auprès De Toi, Mon Frère" has been sent to radios.
In this nostalgic song, Marc Lavoine pays tribute to his brother. "I still see his protection in his eyes" he said during an interview, talking about his strong link to his brother. In his new video, Marc invited him, indirectly. Shot in a luxurious nature, the video shows 2 children, representing the singer & his brother, together in a tree shack, playing in high grass & riding horses.
Nostalgy can be felt in this video. The artist looks back to think about his future. "The world moves but things remain. It's a melting-pot. I think that things pass through us. I must transfer happiness that's been brought to me. I must be happy for my children, be there, really, not to be absent" he said to Pure Charts, adding that he'd "spend his next 50 years differently."

With only 10 tracks & 40 minutes, Je Descends Du Singe is a short album. "10 songs to listen are already too much. Even if they're not good, you have to hear them !" he laughed, talking about love, brotherhood, flirt or death. The song "Ballade Pour Michelle" is dedicated to his late mother.
After his tour, Marc Lavoine will still be a singer & an actor. The artist has played in TF1's TV series "Crossing Lines", that'll be aired next summer on the American channel NBC.
