N°1 in France in September, Marc Lavoine reveals the follow-up of "La Semaine Prochaine", the second single from his album, "Reviens Mon Amour" : listen to a short clip.

Following the success of his 2 latest albums, the self-titled in 2001 & L'Heure D'Eté in 2005, including the hits "J'Ai Tout Oublié" (N°1), "Je Ne Veux Qu'Elle" (N°9) & "Toi Mon Amour" (N°8). His 2 compilations Les Duos De Marc & Les Solos De Marc, 2 years ago, have been nicely welcomed too. Marc Lavoine is back with his new album Volume 10. The album entered N°1 in France in September, including the singles "La Semaine Prochaine" & the follow-up "Reviens Mon Amour".

Listen to a short clip of "Reviens Mon Amour" here.

For his new album Volume 10, "Yeux Revolver" (N°4 in 1985) singer has been helped by the chic Bertrand Burgalat (Christophe Willem) & also Lulu Gainsbourg, Serge's son, who composed "Quand Je Suis Seul", his friend Fabrice Aboulker ("Les 1001 Vies D'Ali Baba") & Christophe Casanave (Najoua Belyzel)... The album includes 2 duets, Marc Lavoine loves them : the first with Valérie Lemercier, "La Grande Amour" & the second with his 11-year-old daughter Yasmine, "Lentement". Recorded in Paris & Los Angeles, this album includes the rhythm section by Elvis Costello's Imposters, bassist Davey Faragher & drummer Pete Thomas.

Being a beautiful man, it exists. Jean Marais knew it when he was young. Just like his first hit, Marc has "revolver eyes", with his low voice, he has become a romantic singer, "for girls". At the start, he dreamed of being an actor. At 19, he played in the TV series "Pause Café", then turned to cinema with directors Claude Chabrol ("L'Enfer") & Elie Chouraqui ("Les Menteurs"). Success came for this former Olympia usher, helped by Patricia Coquatrix (Bruno's daughter) & most of all, Fabrice Aboulker, Barclay's artistic director, who became his favourite composer. Just like Souchon & Voulzy, Marc found his musical partner. Apart from love songs, he also wrote songs about daily life, "Le Monde Est Tellement Con" & "C'Est Ca La France". The singer has performed duets with female singers : Catherine Ringer, Véronique Sanson, Princess Erika, Claire Keim, Cristina Marocco, Souad Massi, Françoise Hardy... Still composing with Fabrice Aboulker, he multiplied collaborations (Jean-Jacques Goldman, Pascal Obispo, Jean Fauque, Marc Esposito, J. Kapler (Robert Goldman), Romano Musumarra & Jacques Duvall), even singing a new version of Guillaume Apollinaire's "Le Pont Mirabeau".

Also, Marc Lavoine will perform from January 19 to 31, 2010 at Paris' Casino & on tour in France.
