"I Want To Know What Love Is", cover of the 80's band Foreigner, already done by Tina Arena 11 years ago (N°13 in 1998), will be the second single from Mariah Carey's new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, released on September 29. After "Obsessed", the American diva chose a ballad, like her greatest hits.
Listen to "I Want To Know What Love Is" here.
Let's say it, after "Obsessed" & this cover of Foreigner's song, announced as the album's hit, singles are getting rare... Should Mariah Carey be worried ? Her rival Whitney Houston is going to make a great come-back with I Look To You, currently available. Mariah should tremble. To be continued...
The previous album of "Hero" singer, E=MC², sold 2.5 million copies, half of them in the United States. The Emancipation Of Mimi sold more than 10 million copies. Let's bet that Mariah will continue on her way.
