Taken from Mariah Carey’s eagerly awaited new album, entitled E=MC², "Touch My Body’s" physical release will be on 31st March on Mercury Def Jam, but fans can tune into the Jo Whiley show on BBC Radio One, or Johnny and Denise’s Breakfast show on Capital 95.8fm this Wednesday 13th February to enjoy its radio debut!!
"Touch My Body" was written and produced by Mariah Carey, C. "Tricky" stewart, and The-Dream and will be accompanied by a video directed by acclaimed filmmaker Brett Ratner. Brett has worked with Mariah on previous videos such as "Heartbreaker", "It’s Like That" and "We Belong Together" and is famed for directing movies such as the Rush Hour trilogy - Internet, cable and network premieres for the video will be announced in the weeks ahead.
E=MC² will be in stores from the 15th April and is the follow-up to its spectacularly successful predecessor, the 10 million-selling, multi Grammy- winning album "The Emancipation of Mimi".
"Mimi", released on the 12th April, 2005, was an industry phenomenon for the mega-platinum, award-winning superstar bringing total sales of Mariah’s albums, singles and videos to more than 160 million worldwide, making her the most successful female recording artist in history.
"Touch My Body" - out on radio from 13th February; digital release on 17th March and physical release 31st March.
E=MC² will be out in the shops on Mercury Def Jam on 15th April. |
