Adam Levine's band goes back to studios this month, to record the follow-up of It Won't Be Soon Before Long. Producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange collaborates to this project, maybe one of the band's last ones.
This month of July means back to the studio for Maroon 5. The charismatic Adam Levine's band is currently in Switzerland with Robert John "Mutt" Lange. Shania Twain's former husband produced successful albums for her, but also for Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, The Cars & Foreigner. The albums he had produced sold 110 million copies in the United States.
The mystery is about Maroon 5's musical direction for this album, scheduled for 2010. Their 2 previous albums sold 15 million copies.
Adam Levine recognised he didn't want the band to be long-lasting like The Rolling Stones : "After I had been 20, I spent years on tour, so nothing concrete come come into my life. At a moment, I wanted to be someone different, because I'm not certain to be like a 40-year-old or a 50-year-old, in this style, like Rolling Stones."
