Massive Attack biographyMassive Attack biography (read more)
The pioneering force behind the rise of trip-hop, Massive Attack were among the most innovative and influential groups of their generation; their hypnotic sound — a darkly sensual and cinematic fusion of hip-hop rhythms, soulful melodies, dub grooves, and choice samples — set the pace for much of the dance music to emerge throughout the 1990s, paving the way for such acclaimed artists as Portishead, Sneaker Pimps, Beth Orton, and Tricky, himself a Massive Attack alumnus. Their history dates back...

The first time heard it on house md, I was wondering where to get the house theme, I searched around for the theme, and found out that it was based on this song, I heard the song once, and now I am addicted to the song. The music and the voice are so awesome. I just love her voice so mcuh, and aslo the music goes along the voice so nicely. The lyrics are good, no idea what the lyrics mean thoguht, but the song is just awesome.

Amazing, amazing song. So beautiful.

I read the vocalist sang this song after learning her friend Jeff Buckley had drowned, so that would explain how her voice is so emotional and powerful without even seeming to try.

Incubus do a nice cover of this song too.
