AboutMathieu Edward (real name Mathieu Édouard) is a French composer, drummer and singer, born on January 2, 1987 in Cergy-Pontoise, France. He started playing drums & piano & in 2005, he founded the soul band Eledgie. In 2007, he participated to Star Academy seventh season & in February 2008, he became the runner-up, the winner was Quentin Mosimann. Mathieu's debut single "Comme Avant" was a R&B duet with Sheryfa Luna. In July 2008, he released his debut album Entre Toi Et Moi, which became gold disc.
He is also the drummer of the bands Aldorande and Setanta.
