 After having covered Stevie Wonder with "Elle", Mélissa M. covers Gilbert Montagné's 80's hit "Le Blues De Toi", featuring Pras from Fugees. Discover the video.
"Elle", French version of Stevie Wonder's "Part-Time Lover", has been N°1 in France in October 2007. The follow-up, "Cette Fois", became N°4 in French singles charts. The singer continues with R&B, covering Gilbert Montagné's hit "Le Blues De Toi" (N°14 in 1985), featuring Pras from Fugees. "Sunlights Des Tropiques" & "On Va S'Aimer" singer is attached to Motown & soul music since 1971, with his first hit, N°1 in 12 countries, "The Fool".
But what do you think about this cover, faster than 1984's original version, without the emotion, being massacred ? What will Gilbert Montagné fans think about it ?
After her first album Avec Tout Mon Amour, released in 2007, the young Marseille-born singer, 22, releases this new single, the first from her second album, scheduled for 2009.
