Me and my dad also figured out the piano part to the song my friends think i'm insane cuz when ever this song comes on I like scram this is my favorite song. The lyrics aren't just something that can go straight through your mind it sinks in and its not something you can forget.
This is the most amazing song ever...and to hear it played on regular pop radio is awesome...from the first time I heard this song it had an amazing effect on me and it makes me think of how awesome it will be that day when I go home to be with the Lord...then this week I lost my grandfather who was the most amazing man ever and I couldn't stop crying...then this morning I drove down to my church to pray with my pastor and I put this cd in...when this song came on it filled me with the most amazing feeling...I couldn't stop smiling because I know that right now my Grandpa is up in heaven and he's living this song...AWESOME song

now when i listen to this song it reminds me of my grandpa... because he has been really sick lately.. and the doctors say that he will only live for "month to month" instead of "year to year" so it's really depressing.. but then this song just reminds me that he'll go to heaven and get to see Jesus before i do... (he's a really strong christian) and im really glad that this song went mainstream.. well kinda....i love this song..
i like that this song plays on secular radio but some christain songs that play on secular radio you can't even tell their chirstian unless you know already....half of the love songs to Jesus sound like love songs to a partner or someone and that kinda annoys me...but i really do like this song.....it was #1 on christian radio for like 20 weeks straight or something.....any way it's late and i have said enough so great song.....hope it changes lives

last year a guy my age, cole, died in a atv accident.. he was only 14 at the time
to understand this song.. there's this thing that a local church puts on, judgement house, and he got saved at this program.. and in one of the scences which tears everyone up who participates in it they played the song "I can only imagine"
and at his funeral just a few months later his bestfriend sang that.. it was beautiful, i still get chills to this day from that song IT'S BEAUTIFUL..
awesome song! it can touch to many lives, only if you hear it once....if you really think about the lyrics it can be really comforting to know that if you're a christian....you dont have to be afriad to die....but you'll be in the presence of Jesus!
