15 posts | This song has an amazing message to it, we can only imagine what it's gonna be like to walk with Jesus in Heaven, until we get there. As the song says we surrounded by Gods glory, we don't know what we're gonna do for it, but It says how amazing it is to just imagine what God is like. He is so powerful. We are someday gonna enter heaven and realize what is it really like, is it like what MercyMe says it will, is it like what Revelations says it is like, we'll only know if we minister and do what the Bible says. One more thing, I have ADHD, but it is ADHD for God, do you ADHD for Christ???  |

1 posts | I have a couple stories behind this song But first I just wanna say this is a awesome song and I love it!! Ok First My Grand-ma Died of Suicide and they played this song at her funeral. Well Every Time I heard this song I would just get angry and cry , but then one day I listened to the lyrics and I finally understood the words. I got saved a couple weeks later. Well a church in the community does this "House Of Fate" thing and it's diffrent rooms where you walk in & there is a Hell room, Well my cousin was unsaved and His Father made him go in the Hell Room , He is my age and He realized that He didnt want to be there and When We were walking out of that room into the Heaven room the song "I Can Only Imagine" Came on and My cousin was at the Funeral and he realized what he needed to do! He accepted Christ that night!! Isn't that wonderful?? That Is Why I absolutly Love This Song It has Saved Me and My Cousin! Halelluja!!  I hope everybody else likes this song to!! (oh and yes I'm a girl  my nickname w/ my friends is Charlie dont ask why!!??) |

1,108 posts | i get goosebumps reading what u people wrote! i got this song thinking it was in the version on this album a while ago, but i turned out to be different version, but by the same band. my friend burned me a few cds, both being mercyme. it was this one and spoken for. i listened to spoken for first and i knew most of the songs. then i listenened to this one, i didn't know the first like four songs. I was lying in bed when i hear the first like four notes of this song on the piano. I thought i was going to cry! it soo beautiful! i didn't know that they play it on secular stations. thats really neat. and i do hope that it reaches out to people to know the truth! |
