27 posts | A departure from the sound we have grown to know Metallica for. More of a country/hard rock sound. The songs aren't at all hard thrashing teen angst songs, but have shown the maturity and the adult hurt and fears. Lyrically, this is the best Metallica has ever done. The songs show lots of emotion and really let you see into Hetfields head. |
