....Yeah, they didn't write Ecstacy of Gold, and it wasn't Micheal Kamen's idea for S&M either, they've been doing this before their shows for years. It was used way back when in the intro to Live in San Diego (DVD) and live in Mexico City (CD) from the "Live Sh*t: Binge & Purge" box set.... an excellent investment, by the way. I love this instrumental, along with Call of Ktulu, don't think i really have a favorite, though Call of Ktulu is much more technical and harder to play then Orion...which also isn't the easiest thing either...epecially when it gets into the last solo...sick, just sick

Yeah, this song is the only Metallica song written singlehandedly by Cliff Burton. He has taught so much to the band about music theory, etc. and he made them not suck. I'm sorry, but Kill em' All was a tremendous waste of time. |
