| no offense but if frantic is your favourite metallica song then you are definely missing out...i have all of metallica's cds...from kill'em all to st. anger....and st anger was their worst cd...the songs on it suck....do yourself a favour go out buy master of puppets, ride the lightning, the black album...then come back...i bet frantic wont be your favourite song anymore |

| Frantic your favourite song? New Metallica is so disappointing. Sure, it's okay. But it's not Metallica. Which sucks so much. I miss the days of Master Of Puppets, Enter Sandman, Nothing Else Matters. Sigh. |

As a rocksong this is rather average, as a Metallica song this is bad.
I think this is more a commercial crowdpleasing song with lyrics that are staying in you're head 
But I agree that St. Anger was by FAR the worst album from Metallica. |

Metallica has changed so much. I dont know what will come out next but st. anger was there worst album yet. Im starting to think its just going to get worse from now on . But you never know untill the next album comes out. We will see if they get worse or not. They might come out with the best album too, you never know.But i think Master of Puppets is there best album yet. I know people love this album, im not trying to put u guys down, but i think this album is just one of the worst things metallica has ever done  . I hope they come out with a better album next time. Metallica is a kick ass band but come on this album just sucked so much  . |

well, i must say that I hated this album when I heard it the first time...I was so dissapointed.. I was expecting something like the black album, but what I got wasso very different from that.
Now, over a year later, I'm getting used to it, forcing myself to listening to it a few times. I really like it..
Just a tip for everyone who find this album hard to listen to: go to see the "some kind of monster" film. It really adds another dimension to the lyrics, and you understand the meaning of this album better...

Up to the black album Metallica was doing good. Then the decided to change. The selve proclaimed gods of metal went soft. This is a sad desperate attempt to regain their hard edge. The lack of producing shows. Everything sounds un finished. Any person who believes that this is Metallicas best song hasn't heard anything good then. Where are the guitar solos? Where are the cool lyrics? Where the hell is metallica? Oh wait I forgot they suck now and this is them. Pick up anything before the black album to listen to true metallica! |

gone are the days where they make good music from albums like ride the lightning n master of puppets.. they got some pretty good riffs.. the albums load n re-load are where they've gone to change their music.. metallica are trend followers.. but i like em.. they rule during the 80's.. the album st. anger was their worst ever but have 2 or 3 good songs in it.. i tink they shud juz stick to the old days where they were most influential.. c'mon kirk hammet.. we need more solos.. woooo  |

| I've had a theory about why Metallica made this album so horrid....they want you to assume this is just an experement gone awry, then they want you to buy their next album, only to find out that one is also as bad. Its a money thing in the end....oh well, i might be stoned  |

4 wat metallica can do, this is shite. dont get me rong, tha album is put 2getha wel, tha songs r gd, in their own rite, if this was a debut album, if either Frantic, St. Anger or The unnamed feeling were debut singles, they wood hav bin awesome, but 4 metallica, this is rele low grade material. sorry boys!
