Duet with Daniel Balavoine

15 years ago, Michel Berger disappeared. In September, Warner will release a new double Best Of CD & a DVD live at the Palais Des Sports. "La Minute De Silence", a duet with Daniel Balavoine, will be the first single.

Michel Berger was born on November 28, 1947 in Neuilly-sur-Seine & died on August 2, 1992 in Ramatuelle, of a heart attack after a tennis match.

Michel Berger let a legacy in French music, with rhythmic & melancholic songs. The young generation covered the songs of this talented singer-songwriter, from Véronique Sanson to Françoise Hardy, from Lââm in 1998 with "Chanter Pour Ceux Qui Sont Loin De Chez Eux" to Star Academy in 2002 with "Musique" (originally sung by France Gall). Songs from his musical "Starmania" were also covered : Grégory Lemarchal with "SOS D'Un Terrien En Détresse", Peter Kingsbery with "Only The Very Best" (English version of this song, from the musical "Tycoon", English version of "Starmania"), Cyndi Lauper with "The World Is Stone" (English version of "Le Monde Est Stone") & Céline Dion with "Ziggy (Un Garçon Pas Comme Les Autres)". All sang him & will sing him.

Daniel Balavoine recorded with him this magnificent version of "La Minute De Silence", from the new Best Of Celui Qui (Manque).
