AboutChristophe Miossec was born on December 24, 1964 in Brest, France. His older brother taught him music & Christophe founded the band Printemps Noir, which got little success. In the 80's, he stopped music to continue his studies, got his Baccalauréat & studied history at Brest University. He wrote articles in newspapers, then went to Paris & worked for the French TV channel TF1. In 1994, he met a guitarist, Guillaume Jouan, playing music again.
The 2 men went back to Brest & Christophe released his first album Boire. His crude lyrics got a nice success & his second album Baiser came out in 1997. Thanks to music, he went on tour. Success came with his third album À Prendre. He wrote songs for other artists : Johnny Hallyday, Jane Birkin, Cali & Axel Bauer. In 1964, an album named like his birth year, he wrote pure poetry. In L'Étreinte, released in 2006, Christophe talked about his life.
