 Morten Harket, leader of the 80's pop band A-Ha, is back with a new studio album, Letter From Egypt. Discover the new single "Darkspace".
His first musical experience was in Kongsberg, at 3... He heard a local band play. Morten Harket discovered rhythm & percussion. In 1982, he founded the band A-Ha with Magne Furuholmen & Paul Waaktaar, getting instant success. Hits were "Take On Me" (N°3 in 1985), "Hunting High And Low" (N°4 in 1986), "The Sun Always Shines On TV" (N°10 in 1986), "Stay On These Roads" (N°3 in 1988) & "Touchy!" (N°5 in 1988).
Also, Morten started his solo career, releasing 3 albums : Poetenes Evangelium in 1993, Wild Seed in 1995 & Vogts Villa in 1996.
In 2008, the Norwegian singer from Kongsberg releases a new solo album, Letter From Egypt. The new single is "Darkspace" after "Movies". The single was mixed by Addi 800 & recorded in studio Syrland by Bjarni Bragi Kjartansson. Electric guitars, played by Don Pedro in Womb studio, have been added on the album version. Don Pedro & Addi 800 played on another track, after a meeting in Iceland. The album Letter From Egypt has been produced by Kjetil Bjerkestrand & Morten Harket himself.
