Too late
You mean it's too late
You can put it to the test
You never saw your face
When you're in a strain
When it's way too late
We'll cleanse the Gods
And consider you
Well it's a crying shame
Yeah it's a crying shame
When it us to blame
We'll never be the same
Too long
You've cut too far
I'll love as soon as I'll
Reveal your true side
When you're in a strain
When it's way too late
We'll cleanse the god
And consider you
Now it's a crying shame
Yeah, it's crying shame
When it us to blame
We'll never feel the same

vocal I hesitate to rate this, as I've only heard it live (Earls Court 19/12/2004), & have a bootleg which the quality of which isn't exactly great. But, when a good quality copy is made, I'm sure it'll grow on me more & I'll grow to love it.
It's ... sort of a mix between The Small Print & Fury.
Since Matt said he's moving away from the depression scene for his next album, I should imagine that this'll be a B-Side to Absolution.
The live DVD & album (a la Zenith, Paris - Hullabuloo) of Earls Court will probably contain this on both the Live DVD + CD as well as in full quality on another disc.

vocal Unfortunately the record company have decided not to release another DVD. Wish they would though. Especially if it was of the 20/12/04 cos i might be on it.
But I don't think it's fair that they only release the one night,
I was there on the 19th which was the original date for the show and because it was sold out in no time by Muse fans of their message board they brought in another date, the 20th
If they were [ AND THEY BETTER] release another DVD it should be like Hullabaloo, contain clips from both nights

* offtopic : EMI have secured rights to the Live 8 DVDs, of which Tom Kirk (Muse' former producer) is producing.
However Muse are now their own company (record wise), as they have forfilled their contract of 3 albums. Muse are forming their own record company, hopefully backing Indie artists.
Something I find interesting is that SOAD expressed interest in signing Muse.
Anyway, the point is, they are releasing another DVD (as well as Hullabaloo & Origin of Symmetry in the US). (Recently podcasted interview, 2005.05). * offtopic : Only speculation is possible at this point I suppose, but they did have DVD style recording equiptment at Earls Court, I remember being filmed looking lost for a while at the front of the building (bloody camera), as well as the whole show actually.
Conclusion: A Crying Shame will probably be on the next DVD, nomatter what it's called. It may be another Dead Star-esque EP, though I doubt that since they've made recording commitments (Tom & Dom 2005). So anyway, rest assured ACS, though definately not under that name, will be released sometime within the next year, be it on a DVD, EP or on the album.
One final thing: its become my favourite of the "new ones" .
