Muse are brilliant, for the fact that they simply sound amazing, but also that there riffs are so complicated (e.g. plug in baby) that when you can finally play them well, it is so rewarding! Cal | 0 @ 24-10-2004 15:59 Yu2 | 53 posts

Yeah, their songs are very difficult to play, plus he manages to sing, play the guitar and play the piano, seriously I didn't think it was a 3 peace band when I listened to their song for the first time. | 0 @ 04-11-2004 20:35 RedFacedRobin | 9 posts

OK, so who did the original? I heard Michael Buble sing it on Parkinson last night, and when I heard the first "Birds in the sky" I sat bolt upright (coz at the time I didn't know it was a cover) and then at "You know how I feel" I'm like "NO WAY!! YOU CANNOT DO THAT TO MUSE!!!" but then I thought, and figured because Michael Buble does covers, and I guessed he's not likely to cover something that is known for being done by a band like Muse (different styles, you know...) I thought maybe Muse covered it too. I came on here to see if I'm right.
Muse's version is still the best, the catchiest, the most dramatic. They seriously rock.

| >>muse is compleate shite no offence 2 ne 1 dat likes it doh Don't post on a song that you don't like. There's no point.
>>seriously I didn't think it was a 3 peace band when I listened to their song for the first time. That's the great thing though. You can really tell when a song is done by a band, or if the band is a band. OK, eg, Evanescence-she could go solo and no-one would know the difference because they don't sound like a band. They don't sound whole. | 0 @ 04-07-2005 18:07 kti_ | 39 posts

Nina Simone did the original.
But both Michael Bubble's and Muse's version is much better
I hate the word sophisticated. I have never heard a sophisticated person using that word.
