it's a wonderful song! i simply lluuuuuuuuv it. but as ade20 said, they're trying to do like radiohead, with more guitar and bass... i agree totally with you ade20, it's a good way of getting known. hope they'll personalize their style a bit coz it's too much like radiohead (my sis is a fan of radiohead and she's always listening to this band so i can recognize easily what sounds like it!) but i really luuuuv time is running out, it rocks! they're gonna go far, they deserve it!

well radioheads sound of today is not wat it was 10 yrs ago, muse r a rock alternative group who base their sound on succsesful groups like radiohead, why not if it sells records and makes them money, they should i think absolution was a step towards their own sound, origins of symmetry is more like radiohead-pablo honey more rock and eerie sounds hahaha but it is still a good cd and muse are a good band i have their cd's i aint bagging them lets just c how they go with their next album!

Please, comparing Muse with Radiohead is pretty... ignorant. If you were determined to compare people you can easily find two album together and say they are the same or that this copied that blah blah blah. Why not compare Absolution to say one of Flaming Lips' album? Or even Origin of Symmetry with one of Blur's? Or should you say that JJ72 copied Showbiz? Granted Radiohead's influences is obvious in Muse's music and style, but pegging a band after another is really ignorant now isn't it. Muse's style and blend is much more than just any single band, you could say that Origin of Symmetry is like Pablo Honey and Radiohead, but the artistic extension in Citizen Erased, or eerieness of Megalomania, even just the pure skills on the piano are all things that are original to Muse. They are both great bands, and they are both bands that aren't afraid to explore, but they are two very different ones and I guess if you really wanted to make that parallel comparison you can, because a lot of Muse's influence is obviously Radiohead, but their direction and plainfield is just different pegging one to the other is quite restricting.

ignorant.............its the truth matt bellamy has gone on record as saying that wen they first started out they wanted to create their own sound GRANTED, but he would follow in example of radioheads jump into the music world, another band does not make another band radiohead's sound is one of a kind so is muse's, i might as well say that REM made radiohead, if REM hadnt allowed radiohead to be there supporting act in concerts in england in 1994 radiohead would not have cracked it big time, by matt bellamy saying their sound is like radiohead and they love radiohead etc etc then ppl will think and say "gee i like radiohead this is a more rocky more easy to follow sound its sounds nice i might buy it" thats the response matt bellamy and co wanted so their records would sell all i am doing is adding a little bit of trivia and knowlege as of how bands came about. i;'m not having a go at muse i like muse i have their cd's i wish they would tour australia again so i could actually go and c them live.
oh by the way REM rule.....

Yes, Muse may have said that they are influenced by Radiohead, but that does not mean they are copying them. For example, in Dallas, Linkin Park dedicated a song to all the musicians out there who want to create a band or are in one AND they listed a few people who they said they wished to follow the steps in. I can't recall exactly who they said, but just because one person says they are following another person does not mean they are copying them. And you said radiohead has out three albums? Well so does Muse. If you actually "looked before you leaped" then you would have known that. They also have additional songs outside of their albums. And I agree with her; it IS pretty ignorant of you.

And for those of you who'd like to know their three CD's, they are:ABSOLUTION, ORIGIN OF SYMMETRY, and SHOWBIZ. The songs excluded from these are the following: Dead Star, In Your World, Map Of Your Head, Agitated Lyrics, Con-Science, Coma, Do We Need This?, Host, Instant Messenger (Pink Ego Box), Jimmy Kane, Natural Disaster, Recess, Spiral, Twin
