Some times I scream because I'm scared of myself, which incites more scardness towards myself and other teens. I can't go to public school because of it! This was my favorite song when I started listening to MCR. A year later, I still love it just as much. "Teenagers scare the living shit out of my," THAT IT ME SO MUCH! I think Gerard has AMAZING vocals, his voice is SO unique and beautiful. The guitar is GREAT and it has an excellent beat. It's not inciting violence, it's saying how teenagers are these days. Even the ones that aren't punk and scary, that are "nice" and preppy, they are even worse IMO. They smile at you and stab you in the back. At the the "scary punks" are forward, or at least don't say they like you when they don't. At least that's in my experience. All-in-all, this song is GREAT! MCR rocks, and this is an AMAZING song! |

I'm trying to concentrate but all I can think about is socialising with my mates outside. Who needs school anyway I ask myself? The teacher finds me not paying attention and I say to him Chorus I'm trying to concentrate but this lesson is just rubbish. Who wants to know about E = MC2? All I'm trying to do is be a teenage rebel in front of my mates. Everybody has a little bit of a rebellious side. I want to be like Kevin, Lauren or Vicky Pollard who are teenage characters. I fight for their freedom of speech so I can't say they do not have the right to sing it. However, they have the power to guide troubled youth and guiding them to violence is not in the best interest of society. Case in point. Bevis and Butt head____"Fire, Fire........Fire. Although, very funny and real late night talent. The parents of the child that set that fire probably never thought that would happen to them. Granted, it was a cartoon for mature audiences. Ultimately, there was a law suit and the television network lost. We hold ourselves accountable as a society and these lyrics are on the raggedy edge of inciting violence. |

ugh, the lyrics are so bland and boring, and the vocals are just plain pathetic. Is Gerard southern, western, or a broadway actor? I think he's decided to be all three at once. And well, it doesn't work, as clearly shown by the whole ablum of The Black Parade. |

And, furthermore, I CAN comprehend what is being shown to me all at once. I am not stupid. I appreciate the message against teenage violence that this song delivers, I just hate the way they present the message. I think it is presented in an annoying and unoriginal way. I find the lyrics to be boring with no "deep" meaning behind them. I doubt that someone would hear a song, hate it, figure out the meaning of the song, and then like it only because of the song's meaning. It is possible to hate a song that you understand perfectly well. |
