Myriam's second album

The winner of Nouvelle Star, 3rd season, will release her second album this autumn, following La Vie Devant Toi released in 2005 and her only single "Donne".
Myriam Abel, the only female winner of Nouvelle Star, is surely the one who got little success since she won. Jonatan Cerrada, Steeve Estatof and, most of all, Christophe Willem, did even better with their albums or concerts (Myriam hasn't been on stage yet, neither in a Parisian hall nor on tour). "Donne", her first single written by Lara Fabian, was N°2 in January 2006 and her album La Vie Devant Toi sold 100,000 copies (Christophe Willem sold 500,000 copies of his first album and Miss Dominique sold 200,000 copies of her first album). Her other singles, "Le Plus Grand Des Petits Soldats" & "Baby Can I Hold You" (Tracy Chapman cover) were rather unnoticed.
"My new album will be ready for this autumn and will be different from the first one, less "variety" and more autobiographical with sounds that touched me and a duet with Michael Bolton, "Finally". I wrote two texts about my Kabyle origin, though I'm a blond girl with blue eyes. Of incomprehension. I also talk about my life change and my feelings" said the singer.
