Natasha St-Pier (real name Natasha Saint-Pierre) was born on February 10, 1981 in Bathurst, Canada. A prodigy like most of her contemporaries, Natasha started loving music at 8 & studied classical singing, popular singing, dancing & piano lessons. She became a local star & made her first TV show at 12. Remarked by a producer, Natasha recorded at 15 her first album Emergence. Guy Cloutier presented her to Luc Plamondon & in October 1999, Natasha played in the musical "Notre-Dame De Paris", she was a marvellous Fleur-De-Lys. First glory &... Second album appearing in 2001, A Chacun Son Histoire, recorded in Italy & lauded by critics & audience.
Continuing her career, the young Canadian girl released her third album the following year, De L'Amour Le Mieux, helped by Pascal Obispo, Lionel Florence & Daniel Seff, she showed her attachment to French artists. She made a show at Paris' Olympia in September 2002 & she received a Victoire De La Musique for "Revelation" in February 2003. It was the first time that the audience & the artistic world lauded this young singer who wasn't ready to give up. After L'Instant D'Après in 2003, Natasha came back in 2006 with a new album that sounded like loving her audience : Longueur D'Ondes. |
