After "Embrasse-Moi", which failed to seduce radio programmers, with little Airplay, Natasha St-Pier chose the second single from her new album, "1-2-3" : listen to a short clip.
After 5 studio albums, lauded with success since 2001, Natasha St-Pier's new album only entered N°16 in French album charts : the previous one, Longueur D'Ondes entered N°1 2 years ago, including the hit "Un Ange Frappe Ŕ Ma Porte" (N°2 in 2006). "During one year, I left music. I haven't performed for "Les Restos Du Coeur". I didn't sing at home" she said to the magazine "Platine". "I stopped everything after "Vis Ma Vie", in which I was a nurse, I told myself I preferred this life. Then, people should understand that I changed, I didn't want to work with Pascal Obispo anymore. I made my album with other people, it was going well. And before Christmas, Pascal called me, saying "I know that you want to work with other people but I've got songs for you, can I ?" I didn't know & I answered "Why not ?". Then we worked on this album together".
This new album, produced once again (too much ?) by Pascal Obispo, with a more urban music & poetic & sensual lyrics, included the first single "Embrasse-Moi", which didn't seduce radios. The singer chose the follow-up : "1-2-3".
Listen to a short clip of "1-2-3" here.
Also, the singer will go on tour in 2009.
