Third album in June

The American artist Ne-Yo will release his third album Year Of The Gentlemen on June 24 & the first single "Closer" is aired on radios. Between dance & R&B, the singer will be on top again after "So Sick" 2 years ago & his featuring on Rihanna's "Hate That I Love You".
Born on October 18, 1982, Shaffer Chimere Smith (Ne-Yo) released his first album In My Own Words in 2006 on Def Jam. N°1 in the States with 300,000 copies sold for the first week, the album went N°20 in France thanks to the hit "So Sick" (N°11 in 2006). Ne-Yo is also a great songwriter, with hits sung by Rihanna ("Unfaithful"), Mario ("Let Me Love You"), Beyonce ("Irreplaceable") & Céline Dion, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Leona Lewis... His second album Because Of You didn't get successful in France (N°175 in 2007) but sold 2 million copies worldwide. Then, Ne-Yo was back on top some weeks ago with his featuring on Rihanna's hit "Hate That I Love You" (N°16 in January).
On June 24, his third album Year Of The Gentlemen will be released & the first single "Closer" is aired on radios in France. His voice is sweet, on a beat between dance & R&B.
"Some years ago, if you didn't wear the good suit or trousers, you couldn't get in anywhere. The style of Sammy & Sinatra is what I'm looking for. The title "Year Of The Gentlemen" is a tribute to those men" Ne-Yo said.
