3,451 posts	I really hate the new direction she's gone in - now she's just like every other slutty/over-produced pop star in the charts. I loved the album Whoa Nelly, but this new crap is so disappointing. This is not a new musical direction it's a sell-out (as much as I hate to use that word I really believe it's true).

17,233 posts	I used to like her back in her 'Whoa Nelly' days. She was okay when 'Folklore' came out. Now. She sounds/looks like everything/everyone else.

9,665 posts	The old Nelly Furtado was great. Anything before "Loose" was awesome, she had great songs. Now she's just gone mad, her new songs remind me of Britney Spears' "My Prerogative" and that's bad enough. She doesn't make good music anymore.

268 posts	Ok, so I got 'Loose' the other day and it's actually not as bad as I thought. She still has some songs that have that similar sound to it like her older ones. Of course I think it's my least favourite album by her (Folklore was the best) but I really like "Glow", "Say It Right", "Maneater", "No Hay Igual" and "All Good Things Come to an End" it would be great with a little less rap, but I am happy with it.

18 posts	i agree that this album is kinda more cathcy and the first reason of recording it was to achieve great sales but i think there is also another mch importand reason for me...begore the release of ´´loose´´ she has done 2 albums that were kinda different.this one is also kinda different from the others, so i think she tried to make a bit change from her past!i strongly believe this and i would get so much dissapointed to hear that her next album would be of the same style...id like her next album to be kinda rock but still hold the style that made her famous to the world!!loose is a perfect album and being more r´n´b and hip-hop doesnt mean that it is not worthy!her new songs are not more poor in music than the previous ones but the sound is kinda different because the music is made from pc...THANK YOU NELLY FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE SO FAR!!!

1,097 posts	I hope no one gets mad at me for saying this but I think Nelly Furtado is an old fart is trying to make a comeback becasue she thinks she's still cool, but she isn't. Her old songs were aesome,but now... they're just not her. She's just trying to fit in and it's totally fake!

4 posts	Now when Nelly got blonde I don't know what. I like all of her music just because her awesome voice and lyrics. Anyone here that knows who make all of her lyrics, is it Nelly herself? Anyway, now she's blonde. For myself I think she look alot older, she doesn't fit in light hair.. So what do y'all others think?
