New single, Manos Al Aire

¡ Nelly Furtado es de vuelta con un album en español ! For those who don't understand Spanish, it means "Nelly Furtado is back with a Spanish album" ! On September 29, the singer will release El Plan, including the first single "Manos Al Aire".

3 years ago, Nelly Furtado surprised everybody with her excellent album Loose, produced by Timbaland. Between pop & R&B, with many hits ("Maneater", "Promiscuous", "All Good Things", "Say It Right" & "Do It"), the singer from Portuguese origin sold more than 7 million copies everywhere in the world, 320,000 of them in France (platinum disc).

Very attached to her Latin origin (even if her duet with James Morrison, "Broken Strings", is still aired on radios), she'll be back with El Plan on September 29, her first Spanish album, a project she had wanted for years. Nominated last year for the MTV Latin America Awards, Nelly Furtado has already collaborated with Latin stars Juanes & Wisin Y Yandel.

For this new album, with new songs only, "I'm Like A Bird" singer has been helped by a "dream team" to compose El Plan : Josh Groban, Juan Luis Guerra (who had 7 Grammy Awards & Latin Grammys), Julieta Venegas, La Mala Rodriguez (Spanish rapper), Concha Buika, Alejandro Fernandez & the band Aventura.

The first single "Manos Al Aire" will be sent to radios on June 30 & the video will be aired in August. At the same, the artist is recording a new album, in English this time, scheduled for early 2010.
