All I know is everything is not as it's sold
But the more I grow the less I know
And I have lived so many lives though I'm not old
And the more I see the less I grow
The fewer the seeds the more I sow
Then I see you standing there
Wanting more from me a
And all I can do is try
Then I see you standing there
Wanting more from me
And all I can do is try
I wish I hadn't seen all of the realness
And all the real people are really not real at all
The more I learn the more I learn
The more I cry the more I cry
As I say goodbye to the way of life I thought I had designed for me
Then I see you standing there
Wanting more from me
And all I can do is try
Then I see you standing there
I'm all I'll ever be but all I can do is try
Oh
Try
Try
Try
All of the moments that already passed
(Already passed)
We'll try to go back and make them last
(Make them last)
All of the things we want each other to be
(Each other to be)
We never will be
And that's wonderful
And that's life
And that's you baby
This is me baby
And we are
We are
We are
We are
We are
We are free in our love
We are free in our love

vocal I like the song a lot. It's a great song. Yup, its bad that we can't get the lyrics but they're available in other sites such as A-Z Lyrics.

vocal Wow. Thank you, Letssingit, for teaching me what the melody of a song is. I had a hunch, and it was right, but you guys here enlightened what I already knew. If that makes sense. haha...
OK.
The first time that I bought this album, it basically went in one ear and out the other, with few songs sticking.
I tried it again, maybe 2 times and put it away for a while.
Then, fast forward a few odd months, where I either played it again.
Try took on a whole new light. Sad songs make think, or relate, but few of the ones I listen to almost daily, make me sad.
Without any mind-altering substances, this song MADE ME SAD. I don't know how, maybe it was the MELODY (ching!) or the LYRICS, but it truly made me sad.
So I listened to it again.
Right then and there it should have painted a pretty picture that this was my favorite song of all time.
I've went back and forth with a couple of other pop-flavored songs but as of March 2008, this is my favorite song.
I don't even care if it never changes.
I am this song.
I strive for change in people that I cannot really change.
In a way, I am what Nelly has felt over and over.
Perfect song. If I could give it a rating of my tastes, it'd be about 6.5 out of 5 stars.
But this here site limits you to 5.
So 5.
