Norma Jean is: Christopher Day - Guitar Daniel Davison - Drums Joshua Scogin - Vocals Scottie Henry - Guitar Joshua Doolittle - Bass Touring around the country, living in a van with four of your closest friends, and selling thousands of albums; this is the dream of many young bands. It's been a reality for Norma Jean, one of the hardest working bands in hardcore today. Playing over 200 shows in Europe and North America during 2001, they plan on matching that number for 2002. @ Face:Face

the time signature is a lot of 7/4, 6/4, some 4/4. norma jean uses these signatures to add to their unique sound.

@ Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste

I love the words of this song.

Does anyone know where he says:

But how elegant our kiss
We painted crooked (is it lines or lies?)

And are they a Christian band? Or are they a band that is Christian. Christian bands are something like Creed who sings ABOUT god and heaven. But there can be bands whose members are religious but just don't perform their opinions on stage. When he says Christ is not a fashion fleeting away. I think he means that Christ isn't just a brand name for your clothes, but something more than that.

These guys are ok. I don't compare them to Slipknot at all. I've actually listened to more Slipknot than Norma Jean and I actually prefer Norma Jean. Slipknot's just too "RAWR eff this!! Everrone hates me!!!! 666!!! SATAN!!" yeh.
I'm not saying that Norma Jean is god or anything. It's only my humble opinion that they're better than Slipknot.
True Norma Jean isn't anything like the metal masters, but c'mon. You're comparing apples and oranges here. Norma Jean is like...I dunno Hardcore for lack of a better term. Nowhere near metal.
To say that they have no rythm is to lie. They got great rhythm. Just listen to them and tap your foot. You'll feel a distinct beat.
