Norther Biography

In 2000 Finland’s frozen grounds spat out a bunch of Norsemen who flocked together to become what is now known as one of Finland’s most renowned metal-outfits: NORTHER. Petri Lindroos (who also joined Ensiferum as lead vocalist/guitarist in 2004) and some friends had made their first attempts at walking the metal earth under the moniker Requiem back in 1996 until Kristian Ranta (guitar) joined forces in 2000.
