 The show started ! Now, "Nouvelle Star" seventh season has 10 finalists & 5 contestants, chosen for the shows at Baltard, are out since yesterday, there's a surprise : Yasmina was one of the favourites...
They were 15, now they're only 10 : 5 are already out ! 5 contestants have left the show. Charlotte, Antoine, Maria Paz, Michaël & (one of the favourites) Yasmina, have been taken out. There should've been a bug between Michaël & Thomas, which one has been chosen by the audience ? Remember, 2 years ago, the same thing happened, the production cancelled votes, without that, Miss Dominique could have left... Larry has been saved by the jury.
Among this first prime (Virginie Guilhaume was confused) : Yoann (saved by young girls despite his bad performance) has been nicknamed "terrible casting mistake", the 4 blue squares for Leïla, Dalé (very beautiful soul, remember the runner-up Tigane & Seal's success...), Thomas (very limited on "Tatoue-Moi"), Camélia (the "Ugly Betty", a favourite), Mahdi (who elegantly covered Jason Mraz's song), Soan (who should leave his influences) & Mélissa's tribute to André Manoukian, very convincing with Anastacia's "I'm Outta Love".
Only one of them will follow the steps of Jonatan Cerrada, Steeve Estatof, Myriam Abel, Christophe Willem, Julien Doré & Amandine Bourgeois. This 2009 session is more diverse, less rock & less "Parisian" than last year. Good choice.
