Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? will be released January 23, 2007.

According to a report on Pitchfork Media, which also revealed the tentative tracklisting, the album was written, performed, and recorded by Kevin Barnes, with assistance from friends and family: James Huggins, the Late B.P. Helium, Nina Twin (Barnes' wife), Heather McIntosh, Georgie Fruit (a glam rock alter-ego of Barnes), and Alabee Blonde (Barnes' daughter). It was leaked onto the internet in late October 2006; the reaction has been extremely positive so far.
