I ADORE this song.
it's kind of slow and it's almost... ache-y.
it's very emotional.
But I don't exactly get it.
I mean, I think it would make more sense if it said "you WEREN'T supposed to grow old"

This song is very sad. at least to me. It's very real and very human. The song simply translates to, "You were my friend and died long ago. Even though I still think about you every day, I can't remember what you looked like."
Curlyfry91, The lyric "You were supposed to grow old" indicates that the friend/loved one died young. |
