 It's here, it's here, it's finally here! One Direction's much-anticipated charity cover of Blondie's "One Way or Another" has arrived — albeit in dubious quality — and, just as the 30-second snippet which leaked this weekend promised, it's quite a lively affair: Fun and bouncy and energetic.
The good news: The guitar-heavy cover retains much of the pop-rock edge of Take Me Home, with a rah-rah cheerleader quality that's infectious and a big, stomping break halfway through. That key change toward the end doesn't hurt, either. |
