"Clumsy is about making decisions. There is a connection between the song Clumsy and it being the title of the album. The lyric: I'll be waving my hand/watching you drown/ watching you scream is about seeing something, but not seeing it for what it really is. You may decide to help... or to just wave back."

| Okay, I changed my mind. I'll only post when anything's affiliated with Our Lady Peace.
I've never really understood Raine's theories or inspirations...take Waiting for example, that song has stumped almost every single OLP fan. I would have never guessed Clumsy meant that if you hadn't posted it.  But yeah, they rock.

Hey guys, I never really thought about it like that either. My take is that the person he is talking about is a clumsy friend in that they are careless with how others feel, and isn't there for them when they need it, and so when the clumsy person needs help they will have no one there to help them.

| This song always makes me think of the fact that over here, it's legal to watch someone drown without doing anything to help them. I don't know, it just always makes me laugh, even though the rest of the lyrics really have nothing to do with that. |
