Amazing. i must say. P!ATD has my respect

BEST. ohhh boy. smart lyrics+good beat=geniuuusss. i've never been so surreptitious, course i'll be distracted when i spike the punch.. haha surreptitious is our vocab word this week. i love how they're not afraid to put big words in. oh and "wittynickname"...the song is about this guy going to this banquet or whatever, and he sees his ex-gf. he has a huge ego about himself now and is saying "i've never looked better, and you can't stand it"...and she's starting to feel jealous about he's the "big thing" now and she's nothing ("cause you say so under your breath, you're reading lips 'when did he get all confident?'")...so basically he's just getting revenge on her by being this big thing.. at least that's what i get out of it

I think it suits the song more. For anyone who doesnt know, a canter would be the lead singer in a band, choir, or chorus.
