After "Le Drapeau", Pascal Obispo aka Captain Samouraï Flower releases his new single "Idéaliste", available on Amazon, second single from his new album, released this autumn : listen !
After having launched his come-back with the single "Le Drapeau" (some says it's a copy of Coldplay's "Viva La Vida", the singer loved it until he became Captain Samouraï Flower), first single from his forthcoming album, Pascal Obispo reveals the follow-up, "Idéaliste", available on Amazon.
Listen to a short clip of "Idéaliste" here.
At 44 & nearly 20 years of career behind him (his first album Le Long Du Fleuve came out in 1990 but success came with his second, Plus Que Tout Au Monde in 1992), Pascal Obispo is back. "Welcome To The Magic World Of The Captain Samouraï Flower" : a fantastic odyssey, poetic but still positive. An animated rock opera, with the singer playing an ideal messenger, who tries to call all the generations to save the planet. "I'm working on a new project, which lead character is named Captain Samouraï Flower. He's a new generation messenger, very touched by ecology. He goes around the world, visiting the most destroyed places. He talks about the ecosystems, relations with Amazonia & Africa tribes, with nature. He also calls people" he said.
Captain Samouraï Flower will go on tour in 2010. His tour is scheduled for February in France, Belgium & Switzerland & 3 dates are scheduled at Paris' Olympia on March 29, 30 & 31, 2010.
