I did my research for this song and found out that before the whole high school shooting spree occured, Pearl Jam made a music video where Jermey actually goes into the school with a gun and the next actual screen is where the teacher drops the eraser. After the school shootings took place, Pearl Jam re-recored the ending part to the music video so that no one was offended. what a great band. -Ilovepearljam! -littlemillie410

Yes this is an excellent song and pearl jam is a great band but how would any of you know??? every bands songs I look at it's only the mainstream radio played songs that anybody wants to discuss. I try to discuss other songs on the CD's that aren't radio played (which are usually better than the rest of the album anyway) but no one EVER says anything about those , there is no one to discuss them with. Wake up people and stop listening to what the radio tells you is the best song on a CD.

I try to hit up the less popular songs that I like and I dont get too many posts. So what I'm saying is I understand. However these songs are still good. How can you say that people shouldn't talk about that song, it's amazing. The lyrics are so deep and it's just an awesome song.

I saw this before the shootings and it was creepy how he put the gunin his mouth and it was like AAAAAAAA! but i feel sorry for the kids who really had to see their classmate shoot himself. PS Vedder is Creeeeeeeepy!

One of their best songs ever, even though, "Off he goes", "Last kiss", "Once", "Black", "Man of the hour", "Even flow" are as awesome, maybe even better. I heard this news a week ago, Pearl Jam are about to split up, Eddie Vedder is making a solo career, that`s both sad and good, he can do it! P.S. Just kidding about the end of Pearl Jam!
